Placements24 in East London, SA, seeks a proactive Threat Intelligence Analyst to join their cybersecurity team. You will research threat actors, analyze TTPs, and produce intelligence to inform defensive strategies and strengthen the organization’s security posture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Security.
• 1–3 years of experience in threat intelligence or cybersecurity analysis.
• Familiarity with threat intelligence frameworks and methodologies.
• Knowledge of common cyber attack vectors, malware, and threat actor groups.
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret threat intelligence from various sources.
• Identify and track threat actors, their motivations, and their methodologies (TTPs).
• Produce timely and actionable threat intelligence reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support incident response and security operations teams with relevant threat context and IOCS.
• Develop and maintain threat intelligence platforms and tools.
• Contribute to the development of threat hunting strategies based on intelligence findings.
