Job summary

WNS in Cape Town is seeking a telesales team leader to drive high sales and ensure excellent call quality. You will lead the phone-based sales team, coordinate with field sales, and keep administration up to date. Rotating shifts apply to cover a Mon–Sun work week.

The role focuses on KPI delivery, staff development, and maintaining strong customer service, with emphasis on reducing attrition and absenteeism while delivering first-class results.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months sales team leader experience.
• Proven leadership / supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver success against KPI targets through effective management of people.
• Create a positive learning environment that develops Lead Associates to Associates.
• Model behavior to support first class customer service and drive team engagement.
• Understand and act on factors affecting attrition and absenteeism.
• Facilitate direct sales by managing and motivating team members to sell.
• Coordinate with team members to keep everyone informed on progress.
• Build strong relationships within the team and motivate high performance.
• Coach teammates by sharing expertise to improve skills.
