Job summary

WNS Global Services Inc. in Cape Town is seeking a Sales Team Leader to direct a telesales team, drive sales and maintain high call quality. The role includes administration and rotating shifts to cover a Monday–Sunday work week.

You will manage performance, mentor staff and ensure targets are met. The ideal candidate has at least 12 months of sales team leadership experience and proven supervisory skills, with Matric or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver KPI targets through effective management of people.
• Create a positive learning environment that empowers and develops Lead Associates, Senior Associates and Associates.
• Be a role model who participates in achieving the wider contact center objectives to ensure first-class customer service.
• Understand the wider implications around team engagement and how it links to reducing attrition and absenteeism.
• Facilitate direct sales by managing team members and encouraging them to make sales.
• Interact closely with other team members to ensure progress is communicated and targets are achieved.
• Build good relationships with team members and motivate them to perform at their best.
• Coach team members on the best ways to perform their duties to boost skills.
