Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Telecoms RF Engineer in Nelspruit to design, optimize and tune radio frequency networks across the Mpumalanga region. You will ensure optimal signal quality, coverage and capacity for mobile and wireless services, applying RF principles with hands-on field work.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or related field and 5+ years of RF experience in mobile networks (2G–5G).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of RF engineering experience for mobile networks (2G/3G/4G/5G).
• Proficiency with RF planning tools (Atoll, Planet) and measurement equipment.
• Strong knowledge of radio propagation, antenna theory and cellular network optimization.
• Experience with drive testing tools and post-processing analysis.
• Ability to work independently in the field.

Responsibilities
