This position involves the physical installation, configuration, and testing of telecommunications equipment at customer premises. You will ensure that services are deployed correctly, meeting quality standards and customer expectations. The ideal candidate is adept with tools, understands basic networking principles, and prioritizes safety and efficiency while working on-site, contributing to the successful delivery of our client's connectivity solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and activate telecommunications equipment, including modems, routers, and associated cabling, at residential and business locations.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality and service quality post-installation.
• Adhere strictly to installation procedures, safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues encountered during the installation process.
• Manage inventory of equipment and tools, maintaining a clean and organized work vehicle.
• Provide clear explanations to customers regarding installed services and equipment usage.

Requirements

• Previous experience in telecommunications installation or a related technical field is preferred.
• Familiarity with telecommunications hardware (e.g., modems, routers, ONT devices) and cabling (copper, fiber).
• Proficiency in using hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
