Placements24 seeks an experienced Telecoms Installation Manager to oversee installation projects in Centurion, Gauteng. You will lead technicians and contractors, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure timely delivery within budget and scope.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in telecom installations, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of fibre, wireless, and base stations. A focus on safety, quality, and project controls is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering, PM or a related field is required.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing telecom installation projects.
Proven leadership of technical teams, including contractors.
Solid knowledge of telecom infrastructure, fibre, wireless, base stations.
Experience with project management software and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule and manage telecom installation projects from site survey to commissioning.
Lead technicians and subcontractors, ensuring timelines and quality.
Coordinate with clients, vendors and internal teams for execution.
Develop project schedules, resources and budgets.
Conduct site inspections and enforce safety regulations.
Oversee procurement and inventory of materials and equipment.
Manage testing and commissioning to meet performance specs.
Prepare status reports for senior management and stakeholders.
Resolve on-site issues to minimise delays and cost overruns.
Ensure proper project documentation and archiving.
