The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in telecom installations, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of fibre, wireless, and base stations. A focus on safety, quality, and project controls is essential.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, PM or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in managing telecom installation projects.
• Proven leadership of technical teams, including contractors.
• Solid knowledge of telecom infrastructure, fibre, wireless, base stations.
• Experience with project management software and safety regulations.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage all aspects of telecommunications installation projects, from site survey to final commissioning.
• Supervise and lead a team of installation technicians and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation plans, and budget forecasts.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage the procurement and inventory of installation materials and equipment.
• Oversee the testing and commissioning of installed systems, ensuring they meet specified performance requirements.
• Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Resolve on-site issues and implement corrective actions to minimize project delays and cost overruns.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and properly archived.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• Relevant technical diplomas will be considered.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing telecommunications installation projects.
• Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams, including contractors.
• Solid understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including fibre optics, wireless, and base station installations.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana) and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in the construction and telecommunications industry.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities, with experience interacting with clients and vendors.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
