Placements24 is seeking a Telecommunications Site Acquisition Specialist for Paarl, Western Cape. You will identify and secure locations for towers and small cells, manage negotiations, and oversee the complete acquisition process from search to permits.

Your role requires strong negotiation, knowledge of real estate and zoning laws, and the ability to work with landowners, authorities and internal teams. Significant travel within the region is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Real Estate, Law or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of site acquisition experience, preferably in telecom/wireless.
• Strong understanding of zoning regulations, land use policies and permitting processes.
• Ability to read and interpret legal documents and property records.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding telecommunications infrastructure company, is seeking a driven and experienced Telecommunications Site Acquisition Specialist for their operations in Paarl, Western Cape . This crucial role involves identifying, negotiating, and securing suitable locations for the development of new telecommunications sites, including cell towers and small cell deployments. The Specialist will manage the entire site acquisition process, from initial search and due diligence through lease negotiation and permitting. This position requires strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of real estate and zoning laws, and the ability to work effectively with landowners, local authorities, and internal teams. This is a field-based role with significant autonomy and impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify potential sites for telecommunications infrastructure development based on network plans.

Requirements
