Job summary

Placements24 in Port Elizabeth is seeking a Telecom Site Acquisition Specialist to identify and secure locations for new towers and related infrastructure. You will manage the full acquisition process from site research to lease negotiations and permitting, in a hybrid field-and-office role.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in site acquisition, a solid grasp of real estate and zoning, and strong negotiation and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of site acquisition experience.
• Experience in telecom or real estate development.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential sites for new cell towers and telecom infrastructure.
• Conduct site investigations including zoning analysis, environmental checks, and feasibility studies.
• Negotiate lease agreements and property rights with landowners.
• Prepare and submit documentation for zoning applications and building permits.
• Liaise with local government authorities and utility companies.
• Manage vendor relationships with real estate agents, legal counsel, and environmental consultants.
• Maintain accurate records of site acquisition activities in the database.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during acquisition and development phases.
