Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Telecoms Site Acquisition Specialist in Rustenburg, North West. You will identify, negotiate and secure sites for new telecom towers, manage leases, and navigate zoning and permitting processes in a hybrid role.

The ideal candidate has strong negotiation skills, knowledge of local zoning laws, and experience in telecom or infrastructure development. Travel to sites in the Rustenburg area may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Urban Planning or related field.
• Proven site acquisition experience in telecoms or infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of real estate principles, leases and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with zoning laws, land use regulations and permitting processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read legal docs, surveys and site plans.
• Proficiency with GIS tools and real estate databases.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential sites for telecom infrastructure considering zoning and feasibility.
• Conduct site investigations including lease negotiations and title checks.
• Prepare and submit permit applications to municipal/regulatory authorities.
• Manage relationships with property owners, agents and legal counsel.
• Negotiate lease agreements and purchase options with favorable terms.
• Maintain records of site acquisition progress and communications.
• Collaborate with engineering/construction teams for site readiness.
