Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Telecommunications Sales Engineer in Pretoria to bridge complex technical solutions with client needs. You will design tailored telecom solutions, present them to clients, and support the sales team in developing winning proposals and responding to RFPs.

The role requires a technical degree and 5+ years in technical sales; strong networking, VoIP, UC, and mobile networks knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
5+ years in a technical sales or pre-sales role within the telecommunications industry.
Strong networking, VoIP, UC and mobile networks knowledge.
Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Experience working in or supporting clients in the Pretoria region is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Identify prospective clients’ telecommunications needs and challenges.
Design and propose customized solutions based on the company’s product and service portfolio.
Deliver technical presentations and product demonstrations to potential customers.
Collaborate with the sales team to develop winning proposals and respond to RFPs.
Provide post-sales technical support and ensure customer satisfaction with implemented solutions.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and new technologies relevant to telecoms.
