Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Telecom Network Rollout Coordinator to support network expansion in Soweto, Gauteng. The role requires on-site management of planning, scheduling, documentation and field liaison to ensure timely project milestones and compliant operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, with a foundational understanding of telecom deployment and the ability to work independently within a busy field environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant PM/telecom certification is advantageous.
• Experience in coordination or project support within telecom or construction preferred.
• Strong planning, time-management and organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to read technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and scheduling of network rollout activities.
• Liaise with field technicians, engineers and project managers for smooth execution.
• Maintain project documentation: progress reports, site records, permits.
• Track timelines, identify delays and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist in procurement and allocation of equipment and materials.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regs on-site.
• Facilitate cross-team communication throughout rollout process.
• Support administrative tasks related to deployment projects.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and quality of work.
• Prepare regular status updates for stakeholders.
