Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a seasoned Telecommunications Project Manager to lead network deployment projects in Klerksdorp, North West. The role oversees the full project lifecycle, coordinating engineers, technicians, and contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

The ideal candidate holds a related bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in telecom project management, with familiarity in fiber, towers, or telecom infra. On-site work in Klerksdorp is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in telecom infrastructure projects.
• Experience with fiber optic networks, cellular towers, or telecom infra is preferred.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools like MS Project/Jira.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of telecom infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
• Manage budgets, expenditures, and financial reporting.
• Lead regular status meetings and stakeholder updates.
• Oversee vendor relationships and procurement processes.
• Ensure timely completion and handover to operations.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PM processes.
