Placements24 is seeking an experienced Telecoms Project Manager to oversee critical telecommunications infrastructure projects in Soweto, Gauteng. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage scope, timelines, and budgets, and ensure client satisfaction from planning through delivery.

The role requires 5+ years in telecom project management, strong leadership, and proficiency with MS Project, Asana, and Jira.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with telecoms exposure.
• PM methodologies: PMP, Agile, PRINCE2.
• Familiarity with telecom technologies and infrastructure.
• Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficiency in project management software like MS Project, Asana and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Lead telecommunications projects from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines and budgets.
• Monitor progress, address risks and issues proactively.
• Coordinate communication among teams and stakeholders.
• Manage project budgets and vendor performance.
• Ensure on-time delivery within scope and quality standards.
• Conduct status meetings and prepare reports.
• Facilitate project closure and lessons learned.
