Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a seasoned Telecommunications Infrastructure Manager to lead a fully remote infrastructure team. You will plan, deploy, and maintain telecom networks to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance for a growing customer base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years in telecommunications network infrastructure with 5+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing remote/distributed teams and vendor contracts.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, design, and maintenance of telecom network infrastructure.
• Lead a remote team of engineers and technicians with strong performance coaching.
• Develop strategic roadmaps, manage budgets, vendors, and security practices.
• Ensure reliability, availability and performance of network services.
