Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Technical Support Engineer to deliver high-level network support for enterprise clients in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The role blends remote diagnostics with on-site visits and requires deep knowledge of routing, VPNs, and firewalls.

You will document troubleshooting steps, mentor junior staff, and work within a hybrid setup to ensure optimal performance of advanced network solutions for our clients.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering or advanced technical support.
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, and firewalls.
• Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds or Nagios.
• Certification such as CCNA or CCNP is highly desirable.
