ALAC HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Technical Sourcer to drive proactive talent discovery across deep tech and defense sectors in the United States. You will translate complex technical needs into targeted search strategies and build a qualified pipeline for Delivery Consultants.
You will employ AI-assisted research, multi-channel outreach, and market mapping to surface candidates who truly fit, delivering high-quality talent to the delivery team in a fast-moving, lean environment.
ALAC HR Solutions is a specialist recruitment firm supporting companies across deep tech & defense in the United States.
We work on difficult-to-fill searches where posting a role and waiting for applicants is not enough. We partner directly with founders, executives and hiring leaders to understand the requirement, map the market and proactively identify the right talent.
We are a small, lean team. Everyone contributes, good ideas move quickly, and technology plays a major role in how we operate.
We are looking for an experienced Technical Sourcer who can hit the ground running from day one. This is not an entry-level position and it is not a role where we have the capacity to teach someone how to source.
You should already know how to take a technical requirement, understand what matters, identify where the right talent sits, build a sourcing strategy and create a qualified pipeline. Your job is to find the right people and create enough curiosity for them to take a conversation with one of our Delivery Consultants.
Independently turn technical requirements into target companies, titles, Boolean searches, talent maps and qualified candidate pipelines.
Use LLMs and modern sourcing technology to understand technical requirements, research companies and talent markets, develop sourcing strategies and improve the speed and quality of your work.
Create interest with passive candidates using cold calling, LinkedIn, email, video messaging and voice messaging.
This is not a role for someone who only sends LinkedIn connection requests.
You should already understand how to test messaging, follow up and use multiple channels to earn a candidate's attention.
Build clean, organised and properly qualified pipelines that our Delivery Consultants can immediately work.
We would rather receive 20 candidates who genuinely fit than 100 profiles containing the right keywords.
Help ALAC remain visible within the communities we recruit from through thoughtful candidate engagement, outbound activity and recruiting-focused content.
You must have demonstrated experience independently sourcing difficult-to-find technical talent. You should be able to receive a requirement and begin building the market and pipeline without needing to be taught the fundamentals.
You should already be comfortable using tools such as ChatGPT or other LLMs alongside Boolean search, LinkedIn and recruiting technology to research, source and improve your workflow.
You must be comfortable proactively engaging passive candidates through cold calls, LinkedIn, email, video and voice messaging and have experience turning cold outreach into genuine candidate interest.
We are not measuring success by how busy you look.
We want to know:
Are you finding the right people?
Are candidates agreeing to speak with our Delivery Consultants?
Are you building pipelines the team can immediately work?
You will have autonomy and access to the tools you need, but we expect ownership.
We are looking for someone who can receive a search and say: “Got it. I'll take it from here.”
Not: “Can you show me how?”
This role exists because sourcing can no longer remain a founder-owned function.
You will have the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of that function, work on challenging searches across the U.S. aerospace and defense market, and grow alongside ALAC as our client base and recruiting partnerships expand.
Small team. Hard searches. Modern tools. High ownership.
If you already know how to find difficult technical talent and create conversations with people who weren't looking for a new job, we'd like to hear from you.
