Untapped Global Talent Community is seeking an experienced tech recruiter to source, qualify and hand off top software engineers to the founder for roles across Europe and the UAE. This founder-led, lean setup focuses on great roles and earning potential through commissions.

Based remotely from Cape Town, you’ll work with a small team, join client kickoff calls to understand needs, manage your own pipeline in Google Sheets, and avoid business development or client management duties.

• Agency recruitment or technical sourcing experience with a perm tech focus.
• Strong, hands on LinkedIn Recruiter experience.
• Track record of hiring software engineers for demanding, high bar clients.
• Experience recruiting into Europe, the UAE or the US.
• Commercially driven, with a real appetite to earn through commission.

Our client is a founder led recruitment agency built on years of experience in the tech and contracting space. The founder has a strong network of clients across Europe and the UAE, and is embedded with one key client where they manage hiring internally. This is not a big corporate. You'll work directly with the founder in a lean, hands on setup.

Demand has outgrown capacity. There are 30 to 40 live roles, mostly permanent software engineering hires, alongside a growing exec search pipeline with fees of around £60k. The business needs a strong recruiter to find and qualify the best talent in the market.

The role is focused: you source, qualify and interview, then hand candidates over to the founder. No business development and no client management, just great roles and a real chance to earn well through commission.

What You'll Do

• Source top tier software engineers across Europe and the UAE for clients hiring at a very high bar
• Run screening and qualification calls, then hand strong candidates over to the founder
• Join client kickoff calls to understand exactly what each client needs
• Support exec level searches for roles paying £200k to £300k
• Manage your own pipeline in Google Sheets across a large, varied role load

What We're Looking For

• Agency recruitment or technical sourcing experience with a perm tech focus

Advantageous

• Based in Cape Town, with the opportunity to meet the founder in person
• Exposure to exec or senior leadership search
• Experience in a startup or small agency without an ATS
• Comfortable building simple trackers or automations in Google Sheets

The person:

• An experienced tech recruiter or sourcer who knows what great tech talent looks like
• Hungry, self motivated and driven by the earning potential
• Independent and organised, happy in a lean setup

Salary & Commission:

• Commission: Structure TBC, likely % of deal value in £ with average fees around £20k

Working Pattern:

• Remote from South Africa.
• Core hours: 09:00/10:00 - 17:00/18:00 SA time, aligned with European clients.
