Job summary

Recruitment Legends is seeking a Technical Sales Representative to drive growth across Gauteng for solar PV, BESS, and microgrid solutions. You will bridge engineering and commercial feasibility, engaging with business owners, C-suite executives, and directors to identify opportunities.

The role requires 3–5+ years in SA technical sales within solar or electrical infra, with a proven track record of closing multi-million rand deals and strong knowledge of Eskom & NERSA regulations.

Qualifications

3–5+ years in technical sales or business development within SA C&I Solar PV or electrical infra.
Proven track record of closing commercial/industrial solar deals (≥R3M).
Deep knowledge of SA energy landscape, Eskom grid, and NERSA regulations.

Responsibilities

Account acquisition & business development targeting C&I, manufacturing, retail and agriculture.
Translate client metrics into tailored solar PV, microgrid, and BESS proposals.
Lead tendering, RFPs, and bankable proposals with yield simulations.
Manage full sales lifecycle from lead to handoff, plus O&M upsell.
