Metso is seeking a Technical Sales Support specialist to join the Material Transportation Business Line in Africa. The role, based in Centurion, Gauteng, offers hybrid work and frequent travel.

You will provide technical sales support for chute solutions and conveyors across the region, aiding customers and the sales teams to identify and implement Growth-driven solutions. You will report to the Head of Technical Sales Support and collaborate with regional hubs, product lines, and market-area

Formación

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in technical sales for industrial products or solutions.
• Knowledge of conveying systems or chute solutions is preferred.
• Ability to guide customers and troubleshoot technically.
• Strong market awareness and stakeholder management.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical sales support across conveyor and chute solutions to regional teams and customers.
• Assist Product Lines and Regional Hub teams during the sales process.
• Support customers with technical problem solving and application guidance.
• Evaluate claims from a technical viewpoint and support resolutions.
• Contribute to sales campaigns and value proposition development.
• Collaborate with Product Line teams for market feedback and product trials.
• Support supply chain and purchasing with technical documentation.
