Job summary

Kontak Recruitment is seeking a Technical Sales Representative for Conveyor & Industrial Solutions in Alberton, Gauteng. You will walk factory floors, assess conveyors, specify belts and components, and close deals on-site with clients in manufacturing and processing plants.

Ideal candidates have a technical qualification and 1–3 years in a plant or technical sales role, a valid driver’s license and own vehicle, and strong relationship-building skills for field sales.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification required (N4–N6, National Diploma or trade certificate).
• 1–3 years in plant, maintenance, workshop, technical sales or support.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• On-site technical sales at factories and processing plants.
• Measure and assess conveyors, belts, systems and components on site.
• Recommend products and solutions based on measurements and client needs.
• Convert site findings into accurate quotes and proposals.
