Job summary

People Dimension in Gauteng is seeking a Technical Sales Specialist to drive sales and brand awareness for HVACR and IoT product brands, including DDC, LoRaWAN sensors, gateways, and iSMA controllers.

You will work closely with system integrators, consulting engineers, facility managers and end users, with training and commercial support provided by a dedicated team. A market-related remuneration package is negotiable depending on experience.

Qualifications

• A strong background knowledge of direct digital control for HVACR comfort and energy efficiency applications is a must.
• Previous experience on iSMA and Tridium Niagara-enabled Controllers would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and brand awareness, working with system integrators, consulting engineers, facility managers and end users.
• Assist internal sales with quotations, product selections and technical support.
• Coordinate with factory on sales forecasts, project registration, new product releases and technical issues.
• Promote products such as VSDs, LoRaWAN sensors/gateways, iSMA controllers, HMIs and I/O modules.
• Focus on IoT applications in smart buildings, smart cities, and HVACR.

Job description

A market leader of building automation and control peripherals to the HVAC industry is growing and expanding their sales division.

They are looking for a dynamic Technical Sales Specialist (TSS) to come on board to drive their global product brands.

Duties & Responsibilities

• The (TSS) is to drive sales and product / brand awareness, working very closely with their network of System Integrators, Consulting Engineers, Facility Managers and End Users. This will involve cold calling, product demonstrations, presentations, and training where applicable.
• Assisting internal sales staff with quotations, product selections and technical support for the products would be expected.
• Working closely with the factory on sales forecasts, project registration, new product releases, technical issues etc.
• Products you would be working with are Variable Speed Drives, LoRaWAN® sensors + gateways, leading edge Cyber security technology from TOSIBOX®, iSMA building automation controllers, HMI’s and I/O Modules.
• Markerts to focus on will be IoT applications, including smart building, smart city, and Heating Ventilation Airconditioning Refrigeration (HVACR) applications.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• A strong background knowledge of direct digital control for (HVACR) comfort and energy efficiency applications is a must.
• Previous experience on iSMA and Tridium Niagara-enabled Controllers would be advantageous.

Sales and technical training will be provided, and a dedicated team of staff will support you.
