Introduction
Control Systems Integration is looking for experienced and motivated Senior Control Systems Engineers / Electrical Engineers / Software Engineers to join our team.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, testing, commissioning and support of integrated electrical, automation and control systems and related software. You will work closely with our engineering team and clients to deliver reliable, innovative and high-quality technical solutions that meet project requirements, timelines and budgets.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Developing, reviewing and ensuring the completeness of User Requirements Specifications (URS).
- Performing technical designs, drawings and specifications, and developing Functional Design Specifications (FDS) within agreed quality and project timeframes.
- Developing and implementing the required software and control solutions to satisfy project requirements.
- Ensuring the quality and functionality of project code and products through internal and external Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of hardware and software.
- Installing, testing and commissioning hardware and software on client sites, ensuring that systems function correctly in accordance with the FDS, FAT requirements and Quality Control Plan.
- Establishing and maintaining strong, professional customer relationships, both internally and externally.
- Ensuring project productivity and compliance with company policies, procedures and standards.
- Ensuring compliance with the company’s Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety policies and procedures, as well as all applicable legislation and industry requirements.
- Maintaining high standards of health and safety, housekeeping and professional conduct on all project sites.
- Providing technical and ad-hoc assistance to the Directors and management team when required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- A relevant Engineering qualification or IT qualification.
- Relevant experience in software development, systems engineering, automation, control systems, electrical engineering or systems integration.
- Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate them into practical engineering solutions.
- Experience in software development/programming within an industrial or engineering environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a project team.
- Good communication and customer relationship skills.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites when required.
Advantageous Skills & Experience
Experience with any of the following will be highly advantageous:
- AVEVA System Platform / Wonderware
- OSIsoft PI / AVEVA PI System
- Siemens PLCs, TIA, WinCC and/or PCS7 software systems
- SCADA and HMI systems
- PLC programming and industrial automation
- Industrial communication networks and protocols
- MCC Electrical control systems
- Systems integration and industrial software development
- FAT, SAT, installation and commissioningExperience working in industrial, mining, energy or manufacturing environments
