Job summary

SOLEVO Group, a leading chemicals distributor in Africa, is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager for Lubrizol Fluid Engineering. The role is hybrid and based in South Africa, with responsibilities across Johannesburg and Cape Town markets.

You will drive sales plans, identify opportunities in refrigeration, heat transfer, compressors, and related applications, and partner with Solevo and Lubrizol experts to deliver tailored solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven technical sales or BD experience in industrial lubricants or related fluids.
• Strong consultative selling capability.
• Ability to develop new markets across Africa.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and relationship skills.
• Fluent English required; French/Portuguese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the sales plan for Lubrizol Fluid Engineering portfolio.
• Identify opportunities in refrigeration, HVAC, heat transfer, and compressors.
• Build and maintain relationships with end users, OEMs, and distributors.
• Provide technical guidance and product recommendations.
• Support country teams with training and opportunities.
• Travel occasionally for key meetings and events.
