Job summary

Solevo Group is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Manager to grow the Lubrizol Fluid Engineering portfolio across Africa. The role is based in Johannesburg or Cape Town, South Africa, with hybrid work flexibility and international collaboration with Lubrizol.

You will develop the sales plan, build relationships with end users, OEMs and distributors, and provide technically informed product guidance with strong cross-team support.

Qualifications

• A relevant technical qualification or experience with Lubrizol or similar products.
• Proven technical sales or business development in industrial lubricants/refrigeration oils/heat transfer fluids.
• Strong consultative and solution-based selling.
• Ability to develop new markets and manage opportunities from identification to conversion.
• Strong presentation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Fluent English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the sales plan for Lubrizol Fluid Engineering.
• Identify and convert opportunities in refrigeration, HVAC, heat transfer, and compressors.
• Build relationships with end users, OEMs, contractors, distributors, and partners.
• Provide technical guidance and product recommendations; supported by Solevo/Lubrizol.
• Train and support Solevo country teams with trainings and presentations.
• Manage pipeline, forecasts, budgets and business development activities.
• Collaborate with Lubrizol's technical and commercial teams.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and new opportunities.
• Travel occasionally for key customer meetings and events.
