Are you a technical sales professional with a passion for customer engagement and on-the-ground problem solving? We’re looking for a Technical Sales Consultant to remotely support our installer network in Stellenbosch and Paarl – driving product adoption, providing expert technical guidance, and representing our brand in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with installers to promote and expand the full product and service offering.
  • Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities through installer channels.
  • Conduct site visits to support installations, troubleshoot technical issues, and escalate complex matters where needed.
  • Deliver in-field training sessions and product awareness campaigns.
  • Log all installer interactions in CRM and submit reports with actionable insights.
  • Track local market trends and competitor activity to shape strategy.
Key Success Indicators:
  • Maintain high installer satisfaction through training and support.
  • Ensure 100% of installer interactions are accurately logged in CRM.
  • Drive measurable product adoption across the Stellenboschregion.
  • Submit weekly strategy and market insights reports.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in technical sales or field support (experience in access automation or electronic security preferred).
  • Strong technical knowledge and advanced problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-driven with strong territory management skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle - petrol will be compensated.
Qualifications:
  • Matric or equivalent (Technical Diploma/N4 in Electrical/Electronic Engineering advantageous).
  • Experience with access automation products is highly beneficial.
