Job summary

Bluegrass Digital is looking for a proactive, commercially minded Business Development Representative to create qualified new-business opportunities for our technology talent solutions and staff augmentation services. You will identify target accounts, research decision-makers, and conduct outbound prospecting to arrange qualified client meetings for our commercial team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in B2B business development or lead generation.
• Experience researching target accounts and independently generating leads.
• Comfortable approaching senior decision-makers by telephone, email and LinkedIn.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using a CRM (Pipedrive, HubSpot, Salesforce or Dynamics).
• Able to meet pipeline targets.
• Experience in technology staffing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research prospective clients and target accounts.
• Identify technology, engineering, digital, delivery, procurement and talent decision-makers.
• Generate leads through telephone calls, personalised emails, LinkedIn outreach, networking and events.
• Identify organisations requiring development contractors, specialist skills or additional delivery capacity.
• Conduct initial qualification to understand the requirement, timing and decision process.
• Arrange qualified meetings for the Managing Director or Talent Solutions team.
• Follow up with prospects and nurture longer-term opportunities.
• Re-engage former clients and dormant prospects.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, activities and next actions.
• Report on meetings, opportunities, conversions and pipeline generated.
