Job summary

GBS is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead technology projects from initiation to closure, balancing scope, time and budget while supporting Agile delivery.

You will manage multiple projects, coordinate with Product Owners, Analysts, IT teams and external vendors, and report on progress to stakeholders. Office-based role in Durban with 3+ years of experience and a relevant PM/IT degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of project management or technology delivery experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, IT, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of project management principles, lifecycles and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology projects from initiation through to implementation and closure.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with timelines, resources, dependencies, risks and priorities.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets and delivery documentation.
• Facilitate Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, technology teams and stakeholders for effective delivery.
• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues, scope changes and dependencies.
• Coordinate testing, releases and operational handovers, maintaining governance and reporting.
