Hire Resolve's client is looking for a IT Project Manager to join their dynamic team in Sandton, GP. You will beResponsible for executing all aspects of a diverse, very complex information technology program including multiple large-scale IT projects. This includes program planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, communication and cost. PMOL monitors and manages the critical path, contingencies, scope changes and budget, both labor and non-labor resources.

Responsibilities

Portfolio Management

• Lead creation and execution of the IT Portfolio aligned with BU strategies.
• Track value contribution and programme objectives.
• Identify, mitigate, and report on IT programme risks.
• Ensure seamless transition of projects to operations

Project Management

• Prioritize, approve, and oversee feasibility studies.
• Align projects with business strategy across units.
• Direct programme delivery, timelines, budgets, and stakeholder reporting.

Risk & Compliance

• Design contingency plans for IT and infrastructure.
• Conduct audits, monitor recovery compliance, and mitigate technical risks.
• Ensure governance and legal adherence in all project activities.

Work Planning & Delivery

• Lead IT project portfolios, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery.
• Develop business-focused work plans and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams.

People Leadership

• Manage, coach, and develop frontline managers and teams.
• Foster transformation through visible and values-driven leadership.

Financial Oversight

• Collaborate on integrated reports including budgets, forecasts, and expenses.

Requirements

• IT/Business related Honours degree (Essential/Minimum).
• Agile Practitioner Certification (Essential/Minimum).
• Project Management Professional or alternative project management certifications.
• In-depth knowledge of IT project delivery and methodology as well as IT infrastructure.
