Job summary

QE Services IT Recruitment is seeking an Intermediate Project Manager to oversee IT delivery within Agile environments in Cape Town. This hybrid role focuses on planning, governance, and delivery assurance across multi-disciplinary teams.

You are detail-oriented with 4–7 years in IT project management, strong knowledge of Scrum or Kanban, and proven ability to coordinate cross-functional workstreams, manage risks, and report succinctly to stakeholders.

Qualifications

4-7 years of IT project management experience.
Strong knowledge of Agile (Scrum and/or Kanban).
Familiar with IT delivery lifecycles, infrastructure, and applications.
Excellent organisational, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
Ability to challenge assumptions and align stakeholders before execution.

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end delivery of IT projects across cross-functional teams.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, RAID logs, and delivery artefacts.
Track progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and milestones.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
Ensure requirements are defined and aligned with stakeholder expectations.
Coordinate delivery activities across development, infrastructure, security, and business teams.
Proactively identify delivery risks and drive mitigation actions.
Provide concise status reporting to stakeholders and leadership.
Support continuous improvement within delivery processes and team collaboration.
