Job summary

Catch in Johannesburg is seeking an Account Executive with a proven sales track record, ideally from a Big Four firm or with tax/fintech/SaaS experience, to build client relationships and drive revenue growth. You will work with the Head of Sales and Product teams to tailor solutions for our tax compliance offerings and global regulatory needs.

You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closure, collaborating with Legal and Customer Success to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 3+ years of sales experience in tax, fintech, SaaS, or professional services.
• Proven track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets.
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and complex client environments.

Responsibilities

• Business Development & Sales: Identify, engage, and develop new business opportunities by leveraging your network and lead generation tools.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide tailored solutions.
• Solution Selling: Present and demonstrate tax compliance software to prospects and clients.
• Negotiation & Deal Closing: Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing.
• Collaboration: Work with Product, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure onboarding and satisfaction.
• Market Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes in global tax.
• Pipeline Management: Maintain Salesforce-based sales pipeline and report progress to Head of Sales.
