Job summary

Tolcon Group (Pty) Ltd is seeking a vigilant Security Controller to monitor sites and incident responses in the Western Cape. You will actively detect threats within minutes, log events, dispatch personnel and coordinate with response teams, while ensuring KPI-driven admin tasks are completed accurately.

Applicants should have Grade 12, PSIRA registration advantageous, and experience with CCTV and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 minimum.
• PSIRA registration and call centre certificate are advantageous.
• MS Office and 3-5 years in control room, CCTV, surveillance, or security monitoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and detect threats to sites within two minutes of occurrence using various detection methods.
• Accurate logging and verification of all detected incidents.
• Dispatching of Security personnel and coordination with response units during active incidents.
• Acknowledgement of alarms.
• Monitor, record, and report all roadside and TMC equipment malfunctions.
• Accurate and timeous completion of all administrative functions related to KPIs
