Job summary

The Department of Health is seeking a Supply Chain Practitioner: Risk and Performance (L7) to strengthen contract administration and supplier performance monitoring within the SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT directorate in South Africa.

Requirements include Grade 12, a National Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, and at least 3 years of experience as a Supply Chain Clerk, with strong knowledge of Treasury Regulations, SAP, SRM, planning, and communication.

SUPPLY CHAIN PRACTITIONER: RISK AND PERFORMANCE (L7)

Requirements :

• Grade 12 certificate. National Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant qualifications. A minimum of 3 year’s functional experience as a Supply Chain Clerk. Skills/Knowledge/Competence: Sound knowledge of the Treasury Regulations, Notices, and other relevant public service prescripts. Sound knowledge of SAP and SRM. Planning and organisational skills, Computer skills, Communication skills. Knowledge of supply chain processes.

Duties :

• Provide supervision. Monitor, analyse and determine actions to ensure proper contract administration. Monitor supplier performance according to the contract and service level agreement. Maintain code of ethics to ensure delivery of goods/services. Undertake Risk management assessments. Implement fraud and abuse prevention strategy for SCM. Undertake performance assessment of the value chain of SCM Function. Maintain database on the performance of suppliers. Compile and submit reports.
