Placements24 is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager in Rustenburg, North West to oversee procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory management. You will design strategies to improve service levels, reduce costs, and drive performance across the supply chain.

Lead and develop a diverse team, implement Lean and Six Sigma where applicable, and ensure ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) are leveraged for optimal planning and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• 6–8 years of progressive SCM experience in FMCG strongly preferred.
• Proven experience leading large supply chain teams and optimizing procurement, logistics, and inventory.

Our client, a dynamic force in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, is seeking an experienced and proactive Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize operations in Rustenburg, North West . This critical role demands a strategic thinker with a strong command of logistics, inventory management, procurement, and demand planning. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with a significant focus on the FMCG sector.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale logistics and warehousing operations.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory planning, and demand forecasting principles.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams, with excellent people management skills.
• Proficiency in supply chain management software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management capabilities.
• Knowledge of relevant South African regulations and logistics infrastructure.
