About the Role

Our client, a distinguished name in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, is seeking a seasoned Supply Chain and Logistics Manager to optimize operations in Rustenburg, North West . This critical position is responsible for the end-to-end management of the supply chain, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of products to market. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in supply chain management, warehousing, transportation, and inventory control, specifically within the demanding FMCG sector. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of the supply chain, including procurement, warehousing, inventory management, and transportation.
• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies to minimize costs and improve delivery times across Rustenburg and surrounding areas .
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Implement and maintain robust inventory control systems to optimize stock levels and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, safety standards, and quality control procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• A Master's degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., APICS) is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive experience in supply chain and logistics management, with a significant portion in the FMCG sector .
• Proven experience in managing complex logistics operations, including warehousing, transportation, and inventory.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, best practices, and relevant technologies (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
• Proficiency in budget management and cost control.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers and logistics providers.
