Job summary

Sibanye Stillwater in Gauteng seeks a Training Manager to coordinate internal and external Engineering Training programmes, address skills gaps and validate learner competency in line with business needs.

Responsibilities include implementing QCTO/NAMB, SETA and QMS accreditation, preparing progress reports, building stakeholder relations, and driving cost-saving initiatives while ensuring SHE compliance and alignment with global responsible mining principles.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 and relevant blasting and supervisory certificates required.
• 5 years HRD experience (internal) and 5 years as Shift Supervisor (external).
• Clear credit record and security screening; medically fit.

Responsibilities

• Manage Technical Training programmes and improve learner competency.
• Implement QCTO/NAMB, SETA and QMS (ISO9001:2015) accreditation for compliance.
• Compile Technical Training Learners Progress Reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Source, contract and negotiate with service providers and stakeholders.
• Drive cost-saving initiatives to remain competitive on the global cost curve.
• Ensure SHE compliance and align with corporate governance and ethics guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Training Management
• Implement and facilitate Technical Training, materials, practices, methodology and procedures to the improve competency levels within the organisation
• Implement QCTO/NAMB, SETA and QMS (ISO9001:2015) accreditation to ensure compliance
• Compile Technical Training Learners Progress Reports (daily, weekly and monthly) Stakeholder Relations
• Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders across the organisation and externally at all levels and cross-functionally.
• Ensuring open communication channels with all relevant stakeholders.
• Sourcing, contracting and negotiating with service providers.
• Liaising with the necessary entities on any environmental management related requirements and alignment where applicable.
