Job summary

The Department of the Premier, Western Cape Government, is hiring Human Resource Practitioners to provide recruitment and selection support, conduct interviews, and advise clients throughout the process. Travel may be required to fulfil duties.

Applicants should hold a National Diploma or higher in HRM/related fields and have at least 1 year of recruitment experience, plus a valid driver’s license. Shortlisted candidates will undergo assessments and reference checks as part of the process.

Qualifications

• 3-year National Diploma, B-Degree or Higher qualification in HRM/Industrial Psychology/Human Resources/Social Sciences/Public and Business Management or related field.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in a Recruitment and Selection environment.
• Valid codes B or higher driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide recruitment and selection consultancy to client departments and senior management.
• Advise on advertising and recruitment processes, manage shortlisting and interview logistics.
• Coordinate vetting processes and ensure data integrity of recruitment systems.
• Support Senior and Executive management with recruitment-related advisory services and reporting.
