Job summary

Placements24, based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal, ZA, is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive the full recruitment lifecycle from job profiling to onboarding. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in talent acquisition, strong sourcing, interviewing, and HRIS experience, and excellent stakeholder engagement with hiring managers and candidates.

You will develop strategies to attract diverse talent, ensure compliance with SA labour laws, and contribute to a strong employer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, psychology or business-related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment.
• Ability to manage multiple requisitions and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with ATS and recruitment tools.
• Knowledge of SA labour legislation related to recruitment.
• Excellent interviewing, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build relationships with hiring managers and candidates.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for multiple roles.
• Develop sourcing strategies to attract a diverse candidate pool.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements.
• Conduct screenings and interviews to assess fit and qualifications.
• Extend offers and negotiate terms of employment.
• Maintain candidate activity records and recruitment metrics in HRIS.
• Contribute to employer branding and onboarding success.
