Job summary

Pick n Pay is seeking a planning professional to ensure the flow of stock through the value chain, driving sales growth and improving availability while reducing waste and costs. You will translate strategies into qualitative forecasts, sales plans and vendor orders through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will manage weekly planning cycles, load forecasts, and replenishment parameters, while tracking KPI trends such as waste, inventory and stock availability to continuously

Qualifications

• BCom Logistics or quantitative analytics degree or equivalent.
• SQL, Power BI and Access advantageous.
• 2 years Retail, Supply Chain or Planning experience and/or at least 1 year PnP-specific experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the effective execution of stock flow to achieve sales growth, availability, reduced waste and lower distribution costs.
• Integrate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate strategies into forecasts, sales plans and supplier orders.
• Create weekly sales plans for assigned categories using standard planning processes.
• Load forecast DIFs and ensure system forecast reflects category plans and promotions.
• Monitor orders, KPIs (waste, working capital, availability) and adjust plans as needed.
