Clicks Group Limited in Cape Town is recruiting a Senior Demand Planner to drive effective demand forecasting for assigned categories. You will collaborate with Category Managers to craft pre-season plans, optimize inventory, and manage open-to-buy based on data-driven insights.

The role requires strong analytical skills, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to translate forecasts into actionable inventory strategies that improve profitability and working capital.

Qualifications

• 5 years' experience in Demand Planning in a retail / FMCG environment.
• Strong analytical and data modelling skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven ability to drive forecast accuracy and inventory optimization.
• Experience with Open-to-Buy and promotional planning.

Responsibilities

• Ensure forecast accuracy within allocated categories.
• Optimize inventory levels and manage minimum order quantities.
• Partner with Category Managers on pre-season plans and markdowns.
• Analyze post-promotional data to improve future forecasts.
• Lead consensus forecast meetings with key stakeholders.
• Deliver timely management reports and monitor key metrics.
