Placements24, a leading multinational client in Centurion, Gauteng, seeks an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead indirect services procurement on site. You will develop and execute sourcing strategies, manage spend categories, and drive cost savings.

Requirements include a Master’s degree and 7+ years in strategic sourcing, with strong negotiation and stakeholder management. Proficiency in SAP and e-sourcing tools, leadership to mentor juniors, and a focus on compliance and risk

Qualifications

Master's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or related field.
7+ years of progressive experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement, with focus on indirect services.
Experience leading complex sourcing events and negotiating high-value contracts.
Strong analytical skills with spend analysis proficiency.
Excellent understanding of contractual terms relevant to procurement.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for indirect spend categories.
Lead end-to-end sourcing projects including market analysis, RFPs/RFQs, supplier evaluation, and contract negotiation.
Manage key supplier relationships, monitor performance and drive improvements.
Collaborate with business leaders to align sourcing strategies with requirements.
Analyze spend data to identify cost reductions and implement savings initiatives.
Ensure compliance with policies, ethics, and regulations.
Mitigate supply chain risks through proactive supplier management.
Stay informed about market trends and best practices.
Mentor and guide junior procurement team members.
