Job summary

Tronox is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to lead workforce capability by implementing and governing learning initiatives. This role acts as the SDF, handling statutory reporting, grant management, and stakeholder engagement to ensure compliance and align with business growth objectives.

The candidate should have substantial experience in WSP/ATR and skills development legislation, with strong analytical and governance capabilities to support transformation and Employment Equity

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, reporting, and data management capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, relationship management, and organizational skills.
• Experience with learning and development governance, audits, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and governance of the Skills Development Strategy.
• Manage statutory reporting and grant administration (WSP, ATR, PIVOTAL).
• Engage with regulatory bodies (MQA, SETA, QCTO, NAMB) and coordinate audits and verifications.
• Oversee management of learnerships, apprenticeships, internships, bursaries, and other programmes.
• Monitor spending, grants, and budget performance to maximise funding utilization.
