Tronox is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to drive workforce capability through the governance of learning and skills development initiatives. The role acts as the SDF, overseeing statutory reporting, grant management, regulatory stakeholder engagement, and learning programmes to ensure compliance and sustainable talent pipelines.

The role requires a degree/ND in HR/HRD/LED or related field with at least 5 years of SDF experience, and strong knowledge of Skills Development Act and

Qualifikationen

• Degree or National Diploma in Human Resources, Human Resource Development, Learning & Development, Industrial Psychology, Education, Organizational Development, or a related field, with relevant experience.
• Possess at least 5 years’ experience as an SDF or similar function.
• Experience managing WSPs, ATRs, grant applications, learnerships, SETA engagement, and skills development compliance.

Aufgaben

• Lead the implementation and governance of the Skills Development Strategy aligned to business objectives and regulatory targets.
• Manage WSP/ATR/SETA reporting, audit readiness, and compliance oversight.
• Engage with regulatory bodies (MQA, SETAs, QCTO, NAMB) and coordinate audits and reviews.
• Oversee learnerships, apprenticeships, bursaries, and other learning programmes ensuring accreditation and quality.
• Coordinate grants applications, claims, reporting, and funding opportunities.
