Job summary

Placements24 in Rustenburg seeks a highly experienced Senior Human Resources Officer to oversee HR operations, drive key initiatives, and ensure a compliant work environment in South Africa.

The role requires deep knowledge of HR best practices, BCEA, LRA, EEA and OHSA, with at least 7 years of HR experience including 3 in a senior capacity. Flexible remote working arrangements are available to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Human Resources or related field.
• 7+ years HR experience, including 3+ years in senior capacity.
• Strong knowledge of SA labor law and HR best practices.
• Experience with HRIS and HR analytics.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from profiling to onboarding.
• Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems.
• Handle complex employee relations issues, investigations, and disciplinary hearings.
• Ensure compliance with BCEA, LRA, EEA, OHSA and other statutory requirements.
• Develop and implement HR policies to support organizational objectives.
• Provide strategic HR advice and support to departmental managers.
