Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Construction Planner & Scheduler to optimize schedules across diverse projects. You will develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and logistics strategies entirely from a remote setting.

Collaborate with project managers and site teams to identify critical paths, run schedule risk analyses, and deliver baseline and look‑ahead schedules with progress reports. Advanced scheduling tools and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in construction planning and scheduling, preferably on large-scale projects.
• Advanced proficiency in scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and project management principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, tailored for remote collaboration.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications to inform scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project schedules using advanced planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• Analyze project scope, identify critical paths, dependencies, and potential resource conflicts.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to gather schedule updates and progress information.
• Prepare baseline schedules, look-ahead schedules, and monthly progress reports for construction projects .
• Conduct schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies to address potential delays.
• Assist in the development of resource loading and leveling plans to optimize workforce and equipment utilization.
