Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly organized Remote Construction Planner to develop and optimize construction schedules from anywhere. You will support pre-construction planning and resource forecasting for projects around Nelspruit, ensuring feasible and compliant plans.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and site teams to define scope, objectives, and deliverables, while identifying critical paths and mitigating risks. Proficiency in Primavera P6 or MS Project is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction planning and scheduling.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Excellent analytical and collaborative skills for remote work.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project schedules including master, phase and look-ahead schedules.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers and site teams to define scope and deliverables.
• Identify critical path activities and conflicts and propose mitigations.
• Forecast labor, materials and equipment based on plans.
• Use project management software to create, update and monitor schedules.
• Analyze progress against baseline and adjust plans as needed.
