Job summary

Tiger Brands is seeking a Customer Manager to lead the Pick n Pay & Boxer regional portfolio from Isando. You will develop and manage a defined customer strategy, build strong relationships and drive sales growth through collaboration with marketing and operations teams.

The role focuses on analysing market data, negotiating listings and promotions, and monitoring ROI against budget, with a target to improve market share and customer profitability.

Qualifications

• Over 3 years' customer / key account / sales experience.
• Experience managing customer accounts & relationships.
• Finance sales experience (promotional budgets, trade budgets, revenue forecasting, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Analyse market and customer information to develop a customer-specific sales strategy.
• Develop and manage a customer plan and activity grid for the channel / customer.
• Work with Customer Marketing to develop a defined investment strategy to deliver volumes.
• Develop a customer contact strategy and manage key customer relationships.
• Negotiate, track and evaluate spend ensuring ROI and compliance.
• Implement and manage customer initiatives in the commercialization of innovations.
• Negotiate listings & launch support with buyers.
• Control and implement the account promotional grid & budgeted spend.
• Evaluate ROI of all promotions to maximise commercial effectiveness.
• Communicate pricing & promo activities to stakeholders.
• Monitor co-ad spend in line with budget.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to ensure store coverage.
• Manage expenses and co-ad within budget.
