The ideal candidate holds a relevant degree and 2–5 years of procurement experience, with proficiency in procurement software and MS Office. Strong negotiation and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Proficiency with standard procurement software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team in Bloemfontein.

Responsibilities

• Manage the purchasing process from requisition to order placement, ensuring policy compliance.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, obtain quotes, negotiate terms.
• Maintain vendor master data and pricing in the procurement system.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely delivery.
• Resolve discrepancies or issues with POs, invoices, or deliveries.
• Support Procurement Manager in strategic sourcing initiatives and reporting.
