You will collaborate across geoscience, operations, and engineering teams, use industry-standard software, and contribute to the strategic direction of regional mining projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive mine planning and design experience.
• Proficiency with industry-standard mine planning software suites Deswik, Vulcan and Surpac.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive mine plans, including open-pit or underground designs, production schedules, and resource utilization strategies.
• Utilize Deswik, Vulcan, Surpac for detailed geological modeling, reserve estimation, and optimization.
• Conduct feasibility studies and economic evaluations for new projects and expansions, assessing technical viability and financial returns.
• Collaborate with geological, operations, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of mine plans.
• Monitor mine performance against plans, identify deviations, and recommend corrective actions to optimize operations and mitigate risks.
