Job summary

DSV is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in Gauteng to plan, coordinate, and optimize warehouse and transport activities. You will ensure orders are executed efficiently, manage operational risks, and consistently meet contractual service levels.

Role requires understanding of customer requirements, strong stakeholder engagement, and experience with WMS and planning tools. Expect to work in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams across warehouse, transport and customer service.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering an advantage.
Minimum 2–5 years' experience in a 3PL, warehousing, logistics or supply chain planning environment.
Sound understanding of warehouse operations, planning, scheduling, capacity planning, workload balancing and resource optimization.
Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), planning software and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong planning, organizing, coordinating, monitoring and problem-solving skills.
Ability to analyze operational demands and balance workloads across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

Understand the customer’s business and customer requirements.
Develop strong, trusting relationships with clients.
Maintain adherence to SLAs and KPIs.
Ensure compliance with HSE and operational procedures.
Audit compliance and perform ad hoc duties as required.
Query management and daily system checks to ensure orders are planned and executed per KPI.
